Then I heard Pac say he hated bitches,
then I heard about his rape conviction,
then I learned John Lennon beat his wife;
these were people I needed in my life, to save shit?
Sometimes love is finding the parts that work,
I reject the suggestion that love hurts.
Sometimes love doesn't demand another person,
the antiseptic stings so you know it served its purpose.
